For twenty years, I forgot how to make life choices for myself. Much of what I was doing over the years was not what I wanted to do. I was complacent and tolerated my circumstances. Sound familiar?
A Simple Water Filter is Saving Millions of Lives
Set your timer. Look at your watch. Let about 20 seconds pass. Done? Someone, somewhere, died during your count from lack of clean water. She may have been a pretty little girl not yet 5 years old, or a beloved boy child, possibly younger. Odds are one in four that she, or he, was just a child.
The “Vampire” Virus: Human Endogenous Retro-Virus (HERV’s)
I always found it fascinating that a good 8% of the human genome is made up of viral invaders that have incorporated themselves into our germ cells over the past several million years.
Marketing Ourselves
The human tendency to self cherish is the main dish of our existence. Humans have been eating it up, probably since the beginning of our species. In addition to the main dish is a set of side dishes called consumerism, capitalism, and commodification. Ever seductive, they add endless flavors and textures onto the main dish. It sure can be you; it sure will be me.

Enough Is Enough
A response to the continued violent existence man insists on living despite access to knowledge. We continue to exist within the cave of ignorance and only see through the eyes of our dictators who tell us what to value and what to think. We must move toward a world that seeks thought and insists that we make the ethical and religious traditions of the past matter, giving them a place in the souls of man.

Tamara Taggart’s personal and heart-warming account of two separate conversations that eventually became undeniably inter-woven.
We Are All Becoming Strangers to Each Other
The invasion of technology, as well as multiple generations of people indoctrinated to fear their neighbors, or be suspicious of the actions of those they don’t know, has made something as basic as conversations between strangers a rarity.
What Love Is
