As another new year begins, the need to strike a balance between past and present emerges once again.

During her travels to Hong Kong and Japan in the early 1980’s, she produced a series of photographs that were exhibited in 1983 and in 1984, which received favourable reviews in The Guardian newspaper.
Serendipity, Inspiration and Creativity
It is not coincidental that a big part of my 100 Happy Days challenge is about being grateful and giving thanks. Its not often that I find serendipity in the way I found it last Saturday, but I think being aware makes me notice the moments more rather than them just passing me by.
The Magic of Serendipity
Beings and versions of us who are calling out to be heard, no matter how small the sound might feel, amid the noise of it all … calling out for someone to notice … to hear and listen and respond, with simple kindness. To interrupt the rude, and to stop the ride, and to pause on the timeline.

I had a doctor’s note to prove it, but that didn’t usually stop some P.E. teachers from bullying me just as much as my fellow students did.
Taking it to the max: The life of a serial obsessionist
Mostly I’ve loved this life of serial obsessions. It drives me to learn all kinds of things I wouldn’t have thought to learn. It pushes me out of my comfort zone to have new experiences that I wouldn’t have thought to have. It helps me shed what has lost meaning, making room for something new.
