Giving up one love to save another sometimes is the only thing that makes sense. Even if it means that your life isn’t as easy as you would like it to be.

Much of my painting inspiration comes from our spectacular west coast scenery although I have been greatly influenced by the many different people and countries I have visited. I am awed by the beauty and diversity the entire world has to offer.
Love is all the moments in between the big moments – the moments we rarely capture in photos and ones that are often overloooked.
When they had left he got up and looked up and down the street. It was a beautiful summer night, and the moon was full, casting a warm glow on the tiny neighbourhood. He’d lived in the house with his wife, Margie going on twenty odd years. Why had she ended it without saying good-bye?
For the most part they are based upon a lifetime of unforgettable moments on the prairie through all the seasons. Experiences and memories from time spent at my family cottage at Victoria Beach, from living and growing up in Winnipeg, and from my many travels throughout the Province.
Situated at an average of 14,700 feet above sea level, Tibet is the region of the globe with the highest elevation worldwide. When talking about Tibet, I refer to Xizang, or the Autonomous region of Tibet which represents roughly half the size of the Tibetan cultural area.
When a customer asks a question that you don’t know the answer to, the best answer is this: “I don’t know, but I’ll find out!”. When you do this, you are telling the truth and operating from a position of integrity.
The key issue in traveling successfully, then, is to embrace the right attitude and to act in accordance with that attitude. In this series, I’ll describe that attitude. I’ll talk about the specific issues I face on a daily basis and how I deal with them.
