I read Albert Einstein’s definition of time and space when I was 14 years old, blown away by a few simple words; “Time is what we measure with a clock, space is what we measure with a ruler”.
The Rite of Spring
As a trained musician and passionate artist I feel incredibly fortunate that I have been able to combine my two worlds. On the one hand, music provides a seemingly endless resource of inspirational content and painting is the perfect channel for my discovery therein.
Where did I study Art?
I don’t have any papers or certificates that say I am good at art. I guess you would have to say that I went to the school of hard knocks. They do’t hand out degrees for that. I grew up in a little town called Lakeville, in Ohio. I bought an airbrush when I was about 13.
Toronto Artists Visually Contemplate Cult Films
Cult films and cult classic TV shows inspire people to act in different ways, and over time these documents precipitate change in our society.

101 Paintings of Gratitude

CELEBRATING THE SPIRIT OF WOMEN
My work explores the essence of beauty. It can be found in both the powerful aesthetic of glamour and the charm of imperfection. My objective is to find a balance between realistic representation and interpretive impressions meant to communicate the feeling and mood of the piece.
Abstracts Inspired by Memories of Chile
“My Memories of Home” series evoke childhood memories of places I lived in or visited in my birth country Chile. They convey rather than depict houses painted in bright cheerful colours, the harbor, the hills with their impressive views of the sea, my grandmother’s garden, the beaches & the ocean.
How I Found “The Way of the Brush”: PART 2: Creativity as a Guiding Light
At the end of the weekend, we each shared our self portrait. I was one of the last to share. I put it up, and the room went silent. I thought, OMG, what is wrong…it must be awful and no one likes it. I was mortified.
Ireland – Between Heaven and Earth
I am interested in examining man’s relationship between the ephemeral & the eternal as well as the cyclical patterns of growth and decline that binds all material things. Careful observation reveals the beauty within each moment of a world in continuous change.
