For twenty years, I forgot how to make life choices for myself. Much of what I was doing over the years was not what I wanted to do. I was complacent and tolerated my circumstances. Sound familiar?
All Hope Is Not Lost…!
Things could change. Things could change if only I tried, if only people tried. If only eyes could see what can be done; if only hands would set to work, determined to make a difference; if only instead of asking for one, we ourselves would lend a helping hand. If there’s still a ray of hope at the far end of the shore then something must be done, someone must take the first step, someone must begin to pay attention to some of the neglected things. It sure can be you; it sure will be me.

3-Ply Toilet Paper
No matter what life throws my way, I’ll always have my 3-ply toilet paper.

A Silver Lining

Their understanding came from an experience I had told them about and they often heard it repeated when I narrated it to others.
The Entry into Single Life at 45
As times change our whole concept of relationships being long term has as well. I don’t believe this is a positive thing, I truly think we have lost something as a society. However, this said, we are also allowed to accept that it does happen and to live a full life after this. We need to look at all things as a climb to some great conscious awareness about life and living. Writing this article was a way to let all women know who are my age, or close to it, that despite societies need to make our life’s significance dependent on attachment to another, there is a profound enlightenment, which only comes with discovery of your inner self. I dedicate this article to all women, as a way of saying, and to say I am sorry I failed at marriage, but as women we do have worth outside of it.
Gratitude Solves All Problems
“Gratitude solves all problems.” I think this is a perfect way to describe tapping into the universal energy that flows through everything all the time. That “place” where it is all perfectly okay right now, regardless of the difficulties of current conditions.
With A Little Help From My Friends
I’d like to introduce you to two of my closest friends. We’ve known each other since childhood. In fact, we have done almost everything together. Both of them have always been at my side when I put the things I create out into the world. They never miss that. Here’s the funny thing: You probably know them, too.
