Part 2 is a continuation in the series of oil stick paintings, recording figures passing through or waiting in rail stations. Referring back to this theme it continues in other paintings like “Liberty” or “All Saints”, representing as with everything we do in life, moving or even in stillness towards an unknown destination.

Heather Keenan Artist Bio
I trained as an art designer in Edmonton, AB and have been exhibiting my artwork for over 25 years throughout Victoria, Canada and the United States. I received an award from the BC Arts Council and have won firsts at North American and British Columbia art contests. My artwork is on the covers of books, publications, and academic journals. The medium I use is oil pigment sticks, which I use as a painting and drawing tool, manipulating this with rags, scrapers, and graphite pencils.

Thank you for the kind comments on my work Charalee, I looked at your book “The Judgement Game” on Amazon. Very intriguing. Humans – a fascinating species in all ways. I notice we are both from Alberta.
Heather Keenan´s second series is ethereal . I find the work appealing and would like to see it displayed in galleries. I will go to her website to see more of her work.
