While I am perhaps best known for my wildlife & landscape photography as this was where I focused my lens for much of the early part of my career I photograph without prejudice meaning anything can be a potential subject for me. I love photographing world architecture, culture & religions.

Off we went to the mainland. I have always loved change, so I soon moved on to other things in the big city, not the least of which was my first boyfriend. The guys we hung around with were all Catholic. This would be my first introduction to organized religion. Could I have imagined the depth of its meaning?

Maya Angelou said something like ” If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.” Powerful stuff. So I changed they way I thought about myself. I let myself take risks, go down paths I was unsure of, tried new things, stopped doing things that were not helpful ( comparison is the death of joy) and painted whatever I wanted to paint.

Concrete Creations: A Thinner Mix
On my wish list was the ability to create items with thin walls … 1/8 – 1/4 inches. To do so, I needed to overcome some technical challenges and find a thinner, more pourable mix. During this stage, I met 2 very helpful people. Ryan and Bendix!
