Considered to be the largest moths in the world, the Atlas moth has a wing surface area upwards of 62 square inches (400 square centimeters), their wingspans reaching over 10 inches (25 centimeters). They are found in the tropical and subtropical forests of Southeast Asia, and are common across the Malay archipelago.
