I’ve always heard people say life is too short to not live it to the fullest. And I thoroughly agree. So what would you say to leave the most memorable impression of yourself prior to your departure?
Would it be important to say something profound or would it be okay just to mumble some obscenity to let the world know of your disgust?
I pose this question because when I stroll through the mall, I hear angry expletives shouted at children and rage spewed at salespeople who don’t display enthusiasm for their craft.
I know that being kind to one another takes effort and grace. But the outcome produces a greater realm in which the divine to prosper whereas anger, on the other hand, reeks havoc on the person dispensing it. Many health challenges are created and maintained by ill feelings of hatred and bitter verbiage.
We have so many fears that erupt when we think that we are being deprived of a civil right and anger becomes a default mechanism that unfortunately feels more comfortable. But we must find the power to resist. Resist the attempt to impose inferiority on the ones you love. Resist serving a buffet meal to your ego. Resist hiding your true nature to love and be loved.
Start by speaking words of encouragement to yourself. Let words be the salve that soothes your temperament and let the emotion flow to your heart. Take care that your self-esteem is nurtured and then share it with some else. They will appreciate you because you have created an environment to allow them to change. And everyone appreciates the latitude to change.
We possess so much power in our words, and when they are fueled with emotion, we will command mountains to move. And we really should use our powers for good.
Let your final words inspire the final recipient to continue their quest for life. Say something to motivate someone to jump for joy or leap into love or imagine the impossible. And don’t worry, you will be convincing because once you inspire yourself, you will have lived the same way!

I would tell Candice G. Ball that I love her. I am too much of a coward to say it now.

Excellent article! I can relate because sometimes for no apparent reason my chest will swell up and I just have this overwhelming desire to say “I love you” to those I love.
