My paintings and poetry celebrate, and bring to life, my love of my Coast Salish culture through beautiful images portraying the rich traditions and oral history of the First People of Canada.
Landscape and Peace…… against all odds.
My work is about peace and I try to understand why we are here. Cycles of life, generations, seeds and community are important in my work. War fascinates me because, as history has observed, it is easy to make a ghost.
An Inspiring Journey in the World of Fantasies and Abstractions
Sometimes I am deeply inspired by the colors, light or glamor of an exotic locale, or a memorable experience on a journey. In “Santa Fe Holiday,” I used color, texture and form to create a fanciful, inviting scene that attempts to exude the feelings I experienced in person.

A Passion for Bending and Twisting
This was my first piece of metal art. The one that started my passion for metal sculpture. I have not stopped since. Now my house is so full I am running out of room for my family.
A Dialogue Between Imagination, Curiosity, Imperfections and Desires
Each part of my life as an artist fuels the other parts, and together they nourish my spirit. Most of all, I am inspired by art, mixed media photography, and the art of learning. Currently, I use an old broken view camera with light leaks and dry rot in the bellows, and I develop my own film .
