Morocco was possibly one of the most photogenic countries I’ve ever been in. A perfect combination of light, colour, art, culture, environment and humans, meant that pretty much every time I pressed the shutter something remarkable was stilled and captured.
How Breed Rescue Gave My Art a New Direction
I would like to point out that for dog lovers whose hearts have been taken by a specific breed, there are dedicated breed rescue groups for virtually all breeds. For those who just want a good friend and companion and are open-minded as to type, local rescues and shelters are a good option.
21st Century Times Square
New York’s Times Square has been painted over by a glib facade that denies the possibility of desire in a part of the city once synonymous with sin, but the people who linger there now suggest another layer of meaning beneath the glitter of the video screens, another world waiting at the crossroads.
MALTESTE – In Search of the Sublime
“My work gives me a privileged view of the beauty that surrounds us. Toronto art photographer/artist uses Aesthetic Journalism [the crossover point between journalism and art] as the artistic medium for his creative fine-art photography. “Finding pictures to take is more fun than making them! — MeHi”

Outside the Dashboard
“I am always fascinated by sitting down in a fairly comfortable manner, hands on my steering wheel, driving through the city and watching stuff in glorious colour that passes through my peripheral vision every day”.
Cuba on Film
I arrived in Cuba in February of 2010. In addition to fulfilling the assignment I created Cuba on Film, a book comprised of 95 full page photographs. Some of the images were captured on film.
Open Spaces and Predators of the Mystical Kalahari
I adore leopards. Although you have to work really hard to find one, this wildlife park probably houses the most beautiful specimens. They are still very skittish, which makes them even more spectacular and impressive.
