I’m tired… Have been for a while. There are moments of exhilaration, happiness, normality, but I feel like for the most part, I’m tired. Tired but I feel like my life is just beginning. I grew up too fast. I got a lot taken away from me, and never got to live a “normal” life. Missed out on many stages of human growth. From childhood, to adolescence, and straight to adulthood. I was robbed, I was misled, I was ignorant.
I find ways of snapping out of it, out of the funk, I have so much to be thankful for, so much that makes me happy, but someone dealing with repressed issues which lead to external ones can’t have it so easy. Focus on the good stuff, right? Of course. But why is it so troublesome sometimes? Count your blessings… I have many.
A supportive family which I alienated, but took back the prodigal son, supportive kids that were also victims, but survivors, nonetheless. A wife, who I love dearly, and is truly the better half. A new family who is very loving and supportive as well. Where can anything go wrong. So lucky, and I try to tell myself this daily. I am lucky, blessed, whatever you want to call it.
I’m tired… tired of being tired. Time to take the positives and good things and run with them. I am my own worst enemy sometimes. I am a self proclaimed self hurdle. I end up sabotaging my own progress.
Progress, that’s the name of the game. Progression, not regression. What good does that do except be counter productive. Sure, it will take time, it’s not easy, and the energy and patience at times certainly are not there, but the time is now.
Time to be a shepherd and not one of the sheep.

“I’m so tired sheep are counting me
No more struggle, no more energy
No more patient and you can write that down, It’s all too crazy and I’m not sticking round”
