Today let’s talk about getting the lesson.
Have you ever felt like the same issues or problems keep coming up over and over in your life?
I had that experience. I would keep having the same struggle with jobs – I would start out as the Golden Child at a new job, and somehow I would end up as the Black Sheep and eventually have to quit or be fired. I discovered it was one of the effects of growing up in an alcoholic family. One time, a friend of mine made a very wise comment. He said, “sometimes, if I don’t get the lesson, it seems like God just turns up the volume.” That has proven true for me, and my challenge has been to listen before it gets as loud as a rock concert. As I have paid better attention, I have seen life get much easier!
Have you ever struggled with an issue, and had it occur over and over?
