While strolling the internet, we came upon a great post, “Nobody Tells This to Beginners”, by Holly Whitney at artistmotherteacher.com. She discovered an inspiring quote from radio personality Ira Glass and liked it so much, she decided it needed a permanent place to live in the impermanent world of social media…or, as she writes, “Permanence. Inspiration. A shelf life.”
Here’s what she did with this quote. Thanks Holly…

As an artist who’s spent more time blocked than creating … I can wholeheartedly agree.
But ….. it’s really hard, sometimes fight through, the frustration, the overthinking and the wanting more out of your work. I don’t know what the answer is, I like the work I’ve done I just find
there’s very little space for a creative mind in a world that can be brutally all money
and the complete lack of any taste.
