My paintings and poetry celebrate, and bring to life, my love of my Coast Salish culture through beautiful images portraying the rich traditions and oral history of the First People of Canada.
The Realm of Faerie
“Drawing is something that has always come easy to me, but I lacked the passion for it until I discovered the world of Faerie.” – Alison Spokes
Landscape and Peace…… against all odds.
My work is about peace and I try to understand why we are here. Cycles of life, generations, seeds and community are important in my work. War fascinates me because, as history has observed, it is easy to make a ghost.
