I arrived in Cuba in February of 2010. In addition to fulfilling the assignment I created Cuba on Film, a book comprised of 95 full page photographs. Some of the images were captured on film.
A Hospital Made of Swimming Pools
Taking a look out back in the Rehabilitation Pavilion at the Georgia Sea Turtle Centre on Jekyll Island is like visiting a hospital made of swimming pools, each one a bed for a special patient.
Princess Gets the Royal Treatment
After enjoying the hotel and the Florida coast for two days (we always try to arrive early for a cruise) we boarded the Royal Princess, the newest, largest and most glamorous in the Princess fleet. Launched in Britain last year by Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, the 3500-passenger ship is loaded with innovations designed to keep loyal Princess guests happy while attracting a new generation of cruisers who demand good value along with sophistication and elegance.

Photography Adventure Workshops in Ajijic, Mexico
I had plenty of inspirations the first few years, but then, how many times can you photograph Huichol Indians and colorful doors? After awhile it becomes necessary to narrow your field of photography and come up with photos that are not ordinary nor clichéd images.
Door County – The Midwest’s Answer to Cape Cod
Things seemed beautifully familiar on the drive up the Door County peninsula from Green Bay. Yet this was my first time in the area, in fact the first time in Wisconsin. It was not until I drove past the Cape Cod Hotel did my inner mystery solve itself.
Nine Hours In Bogota
Frankly, when I told my friends that I was traveling through Colombia on a recent trip to South America most of them thought I was crazy. Incessant news stories of kidnappings, terrorism and drug deals gone wrong in the 80’s and 90’s had most people believing I’d be a victim of a drive-by within minutes of setting foot on Colombian soil.
