The world heritage site, Mana Pools National Park in Northern Zimbabwe, is the only place in Southern Africa where it actually encourages the public to get out of their vehicles and walk around with no guide. All the top predators are present in this park.
An American Photographer Resident of Gothenburg, Sweden
It’s been quite a journey and not always an easy one. Because, by nature, I am a bit shy
and a bit of an introvert, it took an awful lot of courage to not only make the move to a new country, but to continue to pursue my passion for street photography.
Creativity and Wildlife Photography
In wildlife photography, something can happen when you are in the moment – it is so easy to let the desire for a good picture override the welfare of the subject and the environment. It is such a strong pull, and creates a precarious balance that wildlife photographers need to achieve.
Collaboration
About a year ago, we had a family reunion in Philadelphia, and we took advantage of the moment to schedule a brief trip up to New York. With just three days to spend there, we planned our visit like the Normandy invasion.
The City – A Study
The city is a complicated place – at any time there is much activity and movement. There is a different harmony occurring in the city – an interaction between natural elements and human elements. Contrast this with a forest or lake.
MALTESTE Short Film #2- BURST OF JOY / ÉCLAT DE JOIE
After many meetings & conversations with customers at the gallery, I felt it was important to show with a series of short films the way I create “in the camera” my fine art photography.
A Photographic Experience of Nebulae Decay
I grew up in a small southern town, never really feeling like I belonged. I dreamed of living in a big city. Underwhelmed by my environment, I thrived on my imagination and often entertained myself with video games, books, and movies.
Alders and Cedars and Windblown Leaves
I Love Mud Puddles. I feel a kind of excitement when the clouds begin darkening the sky. It will only be a matter of moments and the Forest Floor will be replenished and once again speckled with puddled reflections of Alders and Cedars and windblown leaves.
Jens Kristian Balle – Fine Art Photographer
Jens Kristian Balle is originally from Ødis, a small town in the tiny Kingdom of Denmark, the land of Carlsberg, The Little Mermaid, Vikings and(not to forget) the 1992 European soccer champions.
Seeing A Different World in Ordinary Situations
While I am perhaps best known for my wildlife & landscape photography as this was where I focused my lens for much of the early part of my career I photograph without prejudice meaning anything can be a potential subject for me. I love photographing world architecture, culture & religions.
