I have it all figured out
who I am, my future, how I want to be perceived
Everyone says ‘high school is the time to experiment with who you are
and what you stand for’
but I have it all figured out
Popularity is an illusion
people say “look the part, act the part and
you’ll be fine” but that’s not true
either way I have it all figured out
You’ll get judged for every move you make
so why try?
In the end all your friends and followers won’t matter
so don’t focus on that, because soon everything
will change and you’ll realize
that all of that was superficial, because popularity
is an illusion
but I have it all figured out
I had it planned out since the beginning
everyone has high expectations of me
but I don’t need those expectations,
I have my own even though I’m uncertain
if everything will go through
I know what, and
I know how to achieve it because
I had it planned out since the beginning
People ask why I have it all figured out
and I say, “I don’t want to wake up one day
and not know who I am, I want to be that person
who is known for what she stands for and for being strong
I have it all figured out
In this day and age its harder to succeed
there are more demands and higher expectations
knowing who you are will get you where you’re at
your past is part of your future, so don’t ignore it
embrace it because
you will have it all figured out

Ama Amponfi-KyeiI am a 15 year old girl who loves reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends and biking. I have a couple of academic awards that I am very grateful for – my grade 7 French award and my grade 8 History and Geography awards. I have been in the honor roll since grade 7.
Gabriela von GrünauI am 15 and have always had an attraction to literature. Weirdly I wasn’t hooked on literature until the age of 10, but know I can’t spent one day with out picking up a book. Since I was young I always knew what I wanted to be, and I never thought that literature would be part of it. I am very involved in show jumping and my singing. When I was younger I competed in a lot of dancing competitions, but grew out of it. Ive been in the honour role since grade 8 and I have an appreciation for school and finishing my academic career.
