The first thing we did after we signed the lease on that small stretch of street was to paint the outside of “our” building, or rather the outside frontage of the unit that we leased. We’d decided on white, covering part of a mural that had been painted over the entire building. That’s right, we painted over a mural – something most graffiti practitioners would never do.
