Images of cowboys, Mariachi Singers, flags of our country, state and Hispanic neighbors, reminded her of her childhood growing up in once upon a time rural Santa Clara Valley. This is one of twenty-seven paintings of the “California Cowboy Series”, covering a six-year span of work.
