A company called Ultra-Ever Dry has developed something that I think is truly amazing. I have been following the development of Nanotechnology for over a decade now. In fact, I drew up an ambitious plan for something I call BioMesh about 15 years ago. More on that later in some other post. Where was I? Oh yes!
So, what is a superhydrophobic coating?
Ultra-Ever Dry is a superhydrophobic (water) and oleophobic (hydrocarbons) coating that will completely repel almost any liquid. Ultra-Ever Dry uses proprietary nanotechnology to coat an object and create a barrier of air on its surface. This barrier repels water, oil and other liquids unlike any coating seen before. The other breakthrough associated with Ultra-Ever Dry is the superior coating adherence and abrasion resistance allowing it to be used in all kinds of applications! ~ Ultra-Ever Dry
While this video is indeed an ad for this product, it is nonetheless remarkable. We are not being paid to promote this by the way. I just think that this is a technology that has enormous potential and wanted to share it with you. I can think of many applications for this technology. How about you?

Cool posting! So curious I decided to order a quart sample…
I will be the guy climbing out of the swimming pool already dry 🙂
David!
That my friend is a Kodak moment FOR SURE! It does look interesting though. They carry it at Industrial Plastics and I am gonna try some as well. I was thinking of putting it on the walk way that the ‘solicitors’ use … with a motion detector that start to play this:
“Slip sliding away, slip sliding away
You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away!”
Great to see you!
Gileeeeeeee
