Oh free me of this mortal flesh,
That I may once again delight.
And in its shedding be refreshed,
A spirit focused in the light.
Oh rid me of these worldly eyes,
That strive to hold all they esteem.
No more allow them to disguise,
Clear windows to my inner being.
Oh strip away this earthly heart,
That pains to understand its core.
Hope and pure love to it impart,
That it may share and not implore.
Oh free me from this mortal snare,
Comprised of mine own retrospect.
Whose key is void of all despair.
Etched on its face, one word, accept.
