Each day, a call
that stirs within me
a desire like no other
I’m lead in silence
the longing builds
and then I feel it
more alive in this moment
than the moment before
I breathe the forest’s breath
listen with eyes closed
to the enveloping silence
the connection, the belonging
reminds me once again
I’ve come home
