Beach Bottle – LIFE AS A HUMAN

It has been almost two decades since I’ve actually had the opportunity to pull out my paints and give it another go. That’s probably why I also had to restock most of them, as they had dried out, or just turned into a blobby mess. And because I now live close to the ocean (and a lake) I thought I would try my hand at a few water scapes. I don’t remember which attempt at a water scene this one is, perhaps the fourth? I was asked to paint a picture of a beach for a mantle and I wanted to give it a little more pop, or as in this case, it was a little more wine.
