I was at work yesterday and someone emailed me a link to a video. I decided to take a peek. I started it running, and was totally blown away. I couldn’t stop watching. As I sat at my desk, peeking out of my office to see if anyone noticed I wasn’t working, I was captivated, transfixed, completely absorbed. The video finished, and I just sat for a minute, stunned. I immediately started sending the link to my friends. I knew they would want to see it as well!
Later, while I was at lunch, I kept reflecting on the video. What if something like that happened to me? What if my life changed in such a fundamental way – daily – and I never knew what was going to happen, who would I be when I woke up? Where was this story going? I had a million “what if” and “what happens” questions about how this person’s life journey might unfold. I wanted to know more. I snapped my fingers and said “YES,” then looked around sheepishly. I had just remembered – at the end of the video it said “to be continued,” and I was so glad – I had to follow this story!

I saw the other episodes listed, looked like they were followups on the different character’s experience. What a wonderfully conceived concept! I haven’t watched yet, but I suspect they were just as strong. The fun part was that some of the actors were real people, recruited by sending audition videos to Facebook. 🙂
