On the twelfth of August 2026 the Moon will pass in front of the Sun and, for a few minutes, turn day into an eerie dusk. I write birth charts from the south of Spain and this one is close to home in the most literal way. The path of totality crosses northern Spain near sunset so a good part of my own country will watch the Sun go dark low on the western horizon.
