Before Submitting:

Submit Your Work for Consideration

To submit your article to Life As A Human, please use our submission form at the end of these instructions. Please make sure you include all of the following information.

1) The title of the article

2) The article itself

Please proofread and spell-check your articles before submitting them to us.

Please be sure to select a Category, enter a Custom Title, a brief Article Description and Post Tags.

3) Hyperlinks

Any hyperlinks you want included should be listed within the article next to the word you want hyper-linked. For example:
“The moons of Jupiter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jupiter) can easily be seen through a telescope.”
We will embed the hyperlinks for you.

4) Pictures

Pictures you would like to show with the article. Please be sure they are original works, Creative Commons, or that you have written permission from the artist to use the works. At the end of your article, include the source of the photo including copyright & hyperlinks. For example:
Jupiter – Public Domain – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Jupiter_by_Cassini-Huygens.jpg
Limit the photo sizes to a maximum of 1024 pixels in width but try to send us pics that are at least 600 pixels in width. You may include a maximum of two pictures per article. Please note that we reserve the right to use different images. Maximum file size of 1MB per image.

Also, if you submit images, please enter the Image Title. This will be used for the mouse over (hover) and is also used by the search engines to better index your work.

5) Attribution

If you quote someone, give proper attribution within the article for the author and the source of the quote.

6) Previously Published?

If the article has been previously published and/or is currently published elsewhere, please provide the link to the article.

7) Your Bio

At the end of the form, there is a place for you to include a brief biography (max. 200 words). While you may wish to use a pseudonym for your own blog, we do require your actual name for correspondence and publication at Life As A Human.

8 ) Your Bio Pic

Please feel free to include a picture of yourself! But .. PLEASE send something with a square aspect ratio remembering that this will be shown as a thumbnail. Enter the Image Title for your bio pic (this should be your name).

9) Your Blog or Website link

Tell us your blog or website address and we will embed it at the end of your bio. Please use this format: http://yourblog.com (or .net or .info or whatever it is!)

We will contact you at the e-mail address you provided to let you know if your article has been accepted for publication. Depending on our article queue, this could be up to 10 days from the time you click the submit button.

Post Tags*
Enter words and/or phrases (maximum of 20) separated by commas. For example, staying with the "How To Be Happy" theme your tags might be: happy, happiness, joy, living in the moment, fulfillment, stress free life, laughter
