avatar About Maggie Kerr-Southin

Curious by nature and a frequent asker of “why,” Maggie Kerr-Southin is fascinated by relationships: between people, animals, inanimate objects and the universe. Why humans do what they do and how that has impact on the world around them creates rich topics to probe and lessons to learn. In the end, it’s all poetry come to life.

Maggie has been a published writer for over 20 years, with her work spanning creative non-fiction, poetry, journalism, and corporate communications. A lover of words and their relationships with each other, she’s happiest when the phone doesn’t ring and she can be alone with her creativity. Maggie is also a fiber artist and avid cook.
