About Katie Paterson
Katie Paterson is a 29-year-old writer and editor living in beautiful Oak Bay (Victoria, B.C.). She finished a Master of Arts degree in English literature at the University of Victoria in 2006 and has recently had an academic paper on Swinburne published in Victorian Poetry. Switching gears from academia, she is now pursuing creative endeavors, writing poetry and non-fiction articles with the goal of publication.
Katie’s greatest passions include writing, animals, and psychology. She wishes that “professional pet hugger” were an actual occupation, but since it’s not, she’ll give this writing thing a go.
