About Chris Finch

Chris Finch has been playing guitar for more than 13 years. Along the way, his dedication has awarded him the opportunity to learn from many great guitar players in a wide variety of genres. Performance and collaboration have always been important in Chris' musical direction, propelling him to work on his craft and improve his skills.

In March 2005, Chris was featured with legendary bassist Stu Hamm (formerly with Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Allan Holdsworth) and has developed into a versatile guitarist with strong stage presence. Later that year, he received a diploma from Selkirk College in Contemporary Music and Technology where he majored in performance.

Chris plans to continue spreading his musical vision as his professional career continues to grow. His most recent project was the progressive rock band November Rising.

As well as writing Essential Listening pieces for Life As A Human, Chris also writes for Synaptic Studios and currently teaches through Long & McQuade in Victoria BC, Canada.
