About Alison Skelton

Alison Skelton, B.F.A., is a multi-disciplinary artist, illustrator, ritual designer, and teacher of sacred arts. She has been practicing divination, spiritual healing, ceremony, and energy work, within the context of Wicca and Shamanism, for 25 years.

As an artist and psychic, she explores the relationship between magic and creative self-expression as a means to heal and transform. Alison has presented performance art, ritual theatre, and dance in both entertainment and sacred contexts, and creates shamanic portraits for magic and healing. Her own art is a reflection of spirit as well as an expression of the magic that she perceives in nature, in the souls of the subjects of her portraits, and in the sacred order of the universe itself.

As a ritual designer, teacher, consultant and mentor, she teaches seminar classes and workshops on a variety of subjects, including psychic self-development, shamanic journeying, and creative self-expression activation. Alison has served as an expert consultant for educational television, theatrical productions, and film treatments of magic and Wicca, and is co-author of the Wheel of the Witches series of chapbooks. She has been interviewed for print, television, film, and radio, and has been featured in documentaries for independent media and television.

In 1993, Alison co-founded the 13th House Mystery School Tradition, a creative eclectic tradition with a focus on teaching, healing and the arts. In 2005 she created the Oroboros project for facilitating community connection, mentorship, and planetary healing. She is a member of the Circle of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and the Sacred Circle of Great Mysteries Society. Her Shamanic practice combines extensive experience as a Wiccan priestess with core shamanic methods.
