At the beach in Panama there are thousands of Pelicans. Standing on the rooftop pool area, flock after flock of pelicans heads east in the earlier part of the day and later in the afternoon we see those same flocks heading back to the west. They love to ride the thermal currents up the building for an added lift and are fascinating to watch!
Every now and then, they will spot a school of fish and the birds will dive repeatedly into the water scooping them up.
