What great thing could you create in just eight hours?
Dave Wallace and fellow musician Dan Bennett (known to most as Transit) have demonstrated their creative process and given us a very inspiring video. For those who think it’s a major enterprise to develop a pop song these days, it just ain’t so. You don’t need no agent, don’t need no super star, don’t need no limousines, don’t need no recording studio and don’t need no record contract either — just a Mac, a few mics and a bit of effort (of course talent is no small component).
But, like I said in my previous post about making movies, the advances in technology these days are putting the power of high-quality production into everyone’s hands. This is an awesome video about the creative process. You should also note that the creators even take time for time for lunch.
Thank you to Alan Smith for pointing out this Dave Wallace video to me on Facebook.
