A little passed Valentine’s day now (my bad).

I do remember the first Valentine’s day I spent after the breakdown of what fairy tales tell you is wedded bliss, and it was quite a beautiful day. I bought some chocolate covered strawberries and a bit of Grand Marnier and shared a great conversation with a girlfriend who was also single. I must say that just being ourselves, telling stories, laughing and of course getting stoned on sugar was long overdue. No stress, no expectations, no disappointments.

Once again the wise one has shown up for work.

Being single is bliss.

I indulged in a delicious cupcake and some exquisite poetry on that fine day.
You can’t go wrong when you celebrate yourself.

Well “said”, my friend.
I have enjoyed being single so much I may never get married ever again…
But, I do know I have also saved a lot of money not having to buy dinner, flowers, chocolate, etc… each Valentine’s just in order to show my “love”.
