I discovered a unique instrument. The cigar box guitar!. This venerable instrument has opened my ears and has lured the muse back in ways that amaze me! This little instrument of mine has 4 strings and sounds great. It is such an endearing little instrument, I can barely tear myself away from it. I think tuning your stringed instrument in a different tuning is always a cool ear opener as well. You may play the same chord you've played for years but hear it in a different way and that may open up a plethora of new ideas... electronic effects pedals also known as stomp boxes are fun to!
