A beautiful piece of writing. I can feel the cold, smell the snow melting off the mittens. The running part takes my breath away, such an inspiration!

It is hard for a writer to convince me winter and cold and especially running in that cold can be beautiful, but you have done so, and I have run alongside you for a bit, you pointing out the hiding places of seeds, the change from yesterday to today, the change in YOU from yesterday to today. Love it. :)

You made me feel what you where seeing and experiencing... and for a while , in my mind ,I was running with you.
Thank you for this breath of fresh air and total tranquility ! You are enabling me to start my day with renewed vigor and serenity.
Everything worth while comes with a price...in your case ''being out in public with a bright red, gasping for air, sweaty face'' and no doubt the preliminary pushing yourself to go out there in the first place, knowing the cold would bite ! ...Your text attests to the incredible pay back we get for the effort though!
Way to go ''Hippy Urban Girl'' May all your runs be as inspiring and may they all be safe... ;-) and ... speaking of safety, do not forget those mits on the radiator !
